how does the process work?

each project is unique, but generally most project follow a few basic steps:

  1. let’s talk about the project.
get in touch with us to review the project. the best way is to email sales@stingraydesignandmanufacturing.com.
we will work with you to understand the scope of the work, and set appropriate expectations.

  2. we will provide a quote.
most often, we generally get enough information to provide a firm price for a design, product, or both.
in some instances we make an estimate, but reserve the right to update pricing as the project is understood better. we are committed to ensuring our clients are aware of pricing arrangements before we proceed.

  3. WE get a commitment from you.
In most instances we require a purchase order to proceed with any work.

  4. we design the product.
our team gets to work. we will either design a product independently, or collaborate with your team to arrive at a product we are both satisfied with. we use screenshots, pdf drawings, or cad files to communicate the technical aspects of a product.

  5. We build one.
we build one unit to test its functionality and ensure it meets the technical requirements.

  6. You review it.
in most cases, we have our clients see, touch, feel, and test the product we’ve created to ensure your expectations are met. if required, we adjust and revise the product accordingly.

  7. production
after a sample has been approved, we move straight into production.

these steps usually require 3-4 weeks to complete. lead times can vary depending on the scope of the project. we are committed to working with our clients, and we make every effort to ensure your success. We maintain a flexible production schedule capable of accepting last minute work, or rush orders when required.
