These guards snap onto the guide rails and provide maximum protection against dust and debris from contaminating the ball screws and guide rail bearings. They are a great way to maximize the life of your machine.
The guards are ultra durable, made from impact resistant clear polycarbonate. The design hugs the contours of the machine for maximum machine clearance while still offering visibility of moving parts through the guard. The guards are semi-rigid and provide excellent impact resistance while still offering some flexibility and compliance if they are accidentally struck by material, or a moving component on the machine.
Guards assemble in under 5 minutes. They install and uninstall in seconds without tools by snapping/unsnapping the high density polyethylene end caps from the guide rails.
Guards can be partially unsnapped and tilted forward for easy cleaning and maintenance to the ball screw and guide rails.
While the guards offer maximum clearance, they can be trimmed and modified to your specific application with a pair of heavy duty scissors/shears.
Sold in pairs.
This product is currently only compatible with the first generation Onefinity Elite Foreman model of CNC machines. The product is not (yet!) available for the smaller Journeyman and Woodworker models.
In order to enable machine homing without removing the left-side guard, the machine must be assembled with the Z-plate attached to the gantry at the highest position.
These are made in Canada. Price includes any import tariffs into the U.S.
